Default CTS-V+MityVac = no vacuum

Well, in a last ditch effort before I decide on a master replacement or a synchro job (some gears are getting better, different gears are behaving strangely), i decided to mityvac my clutch.

I used the method where you shove the needlepoint down the res hole, and pump away.

The amount of air that came out of this system was ridiculous, i mean there was more massive bubbles than fluid. Don't worry, I kept the res full to ensure there was no outside air creeping in.

On top of the huge bubbles, there were the commonplace tiny bubbles seeping out.

No matter how many times I did it, vac would still show a ton of air being sucked out of the system. I didn't exceed 15 on the vac, and while i was paying close attention to the needle, I noticed that it wasn't holding a vacuum, it was releasing rather quickly.

Do I have a leak somewhere in my hydraulic system that could have been causing my issues to begin with?

Could it be a master?
