I installed my new cam and Comp says to set the ICL to 111 degrees. I have it installed and checked the ICL and it shows to be 110 degrees. I have the option to modify it in two degree increments. This cam is in a 408 turbo engine. Would I be better to leave it at 110 or should I go ahead and go to 112?

Leave it at 110 if you installed a new timing chain. The chain will stretch about 2 degrees in short order.

I wouldn't worry too much about being off one degree regardless.

Cool, thanks for the help. The chain set has already been broken in on a previous setup so the stretch/set has already taken. I didn't figure it would matter too much one degree either way but I would like to hear opinions as to wether it matters much one degree either direction.
