Default Beaten to death injector question.

This question has probably been asked far too many times but I couldn't find the info I wanted in the search.

Anyway, I got further into my LT1 than I thought this winter and have decided to send off the heads intake to Lloyd Elliot to do his magic.
I'm going with his custom cam and comp pro mag RR's to get the valve train in order.

My question is, will 30# injectors be good enough for this mild build and what brand etc. are a good proven choice? will also be upgrading the FP for safe measure and getting a wideband just for ***** n giggles.

Also, what headgaskets should I use when the heads go back on. I wanted to get a little bit thinner gaskets to bump up the CR a little bit. mind you this is going to be an N/A motor for awhile so I want to get as much out of it as possible on a budget.

Thanks in advance

Yes redtops/30#s should be able to handle any NA H/C 350/355

Agreed.
Good thinking about a thinner gasket. Stock quench clearance is entirely too big for every aspect of a good running, detonation resistant engine. With a stock shortblock (measure to make sure the pistons are at least .020" in the hole), I'd go all the way down to a .015" shim gasket. At the very least, use a .026 gasket. BUT.......COORDINATE THIS PLAN WITH LLOYD. He needs to know this to get your head cc correct AND to specify the correct cam grind.

Not to hijack, but to help you and help me. Do the LS1s use the same 30# red tops that LT1s use? Because there are a ton of 30# red tops for sale on this forum for LS motors for less than $150, which would be a great deal if they fit LTs.
