Default FAST Computers

Beside the computer and harness what else does it take to install a
FAST computer.Is it stand alone or can you run the stock computer
for transmission and gauges.

The FAST system is a full standalone, you would need to piggyback the stock PCM to retain the factory gauges and control the automatic trans if equipped if not running a stand alone TCM. FAST makes a plug and play kit for LT1/4 engines.

The only gauge you need the PCM for is the speedo.

yep^ horsepower connection out of washington makes a harness to interface as well that i used with good luck...........i just got rid of my stock harness and ecm cause all it was doing was running my tach and speedo.........the xfi is a great system......and the speedo can be retrofitted with a unit from dakota digital........

i like to just guess how fast i'm going, and I'm happy that my car will never have more than 96,000 miles

XFI stuff is nice, especially if you need it. Actually, any aftermarket stuff is.
