Default Anyone know where to get a rearend

I broke my driveshaft and i am taking that as a warning that I need to just man up and throw out the cash to get the rearend built. I was checking to see if anyone has a quality shop in mind to do the rearend in or near houston.

rebuilding a 10 bolt is pointless. if you upgrade everything possible on a 10 bolt it still wont be enough to handle any abuse. it'd be like upgrading tooth picks to popsicle sticks. the rear end itself is too small. soooo either get a 9"/12b/s60 or nothing at all. this question has been asked a million times on here and it's always the same answer. in fact i think there is even a sticky on it in the gears and axle section.

yes sir that was me it was just the driveshaft but I guess i didn't specify that I was going to go with a better rear end. I know how weak the stock pnes are. I just want to take it to a shop that does good work. i heard pyle bros does good work but was wondering if any others had good reps.

I think I have a video of it, need to check. I knew it was your driveshaft right away when they started to push your car, I could see it.

There is a good rear end shop out in Baytown, can't think of the name.

Westtexasbuff: hahaha!! Wow that's a good one lol!

Winters: I think you might be talking about Pyle bros. That's the one that I have been told about but just wanted to get some more input

+1 for pyle brothers, they have done my car and truck, no issues or gear noise with 4.56's and motive 3.73's

Yes, that is it, they did a ford 8.8 on a mustang for me about a decade ago. They were not cheap, but I had no issues with it.

+1 For My wife's cousins - Pyle Bros.

They put in a Moser 12-bolt with 3:73's and a Dana 60 True Track differential.

They KNOW their ****. One of, if not, the BEST in the south. Look at some drag pics... most of the cars have a Pyle Bro's sticker on it.

Call and ask for Dwight Pyle.
