question about F body accessories
I've searched all over and haven't found much specifically about what I need.
I'm considering running manual steering, but I need to know what I can do for a belt after the power steering pump is removed or how it needs to be done.
Is anyone running a setup like this with an off the shelf belt? Anyone have a part number for the belt?
Again, this is for F body accessories.
Thanks guys!

I put a different bracket and pully on my LS1 to run a bigger PS pump. I assume you are going to make a bracket and an idler pully to keep the belt routing and contact area correct when you remove the pump
To get the right belt, I cut an old belt and routed it through the accessoies with the tensioner in the unloaded position and marked it, then again with the tensioner all the way over to the stop. I used the average as a starting point.
They sell belts by the inch so I took my measurements to Autozone and bought one as close to the dimension I had from the old belt. I bought another two belts too, one one-inch shorter and the other one inch longer.
Usually the length of the belt is in the belt's part number
I tried all three to see which one lined up the little indicator on the tensioner the best and took the other two back for a refund.
