PM me your email address. I'll send you the schematics later tonight after I finish working on my car.

Default 2001 ecm pinouts for an 8.1

Just a little info on what my plans are. I have a 69 chevelle that i restored back in 85 w/ a 327 corvette dual 4 intake. Car is getting a revamp and i have been searching for a big block for it. I just happen to run across a 2001 8.1 and what i was told was a 2015 4l80. I am not that familiar with the newer transmissions so i looked up the id of the tranny and found out its a 6l90. I really want to put this combo in my 69 but have to have stand alone harnesses for each. I have found a trans stand alone and also a shifter for the trans. I am really wanting to do the stand alone harness for the motor myself and save a grand. Im pretty knowledgeable with wiring and feel comfortable doing it. I have been searching and searching for a ecm pinout for this motor wanting to simplify the harness and lose all the normal crap. I have went on lsswap.com and found some info but not quite what im looking for i contacted him to see if he could do me a harness and tune the ecm but he replied he doesnt do that motor. My plans with the motor is keep the standard bore for now, retain the cast heads but update the piston, high lift cam, roller rockers, valve springs, modify the intake and add a 102 mm throttle body. I will need to find a good tuner to handle the ecm retune. I have also been looking for a yoke for the trans that is not so big this tranny came out of a cube van delivery. Something similar to the 400 turbo size that in my car right now. I understand im going to have to have a driveshaft made. Right now im looking to replace the 10 bolt posi with a 12 bolt posi due to the tremendous tourque the 8.1 puts out. I know im way behind the times doing this swap , most of you have already done this years ago. Any help i could get would be greatly appreciated!

Very few here would have done this swap because this is an LS engine site. The 8.1 is a modernized old school big block.
That said, that's gonna be a torque monster!
Hopefully not, but you might be a little over your head getting it all working for a swap.
Use the present ECM/TCM and just whittle out the unneeded wiring, just making sure you don't need what's being cut out.
