Default How fast is a stock V?

I'm in the market for a CTS-V, I currently own a Trailblazer SS that runs mid 13's and i'm wondering what a stock V will run....

I've seen a couple stockers run 13.2

I had a TBSS in the past. I loved it. Lady ran a red light and took it out.

Personally if you can afford the gas keep the TBSS. Only thing that I hated was the 4 spd auto but I will never get over having a huge SUV that could walk a lot of things on the road. Besides the LS2 is a solid motor and the TBSS can tow a damn good amount.

If we're just talking quarter mile times, it is indeed a shame that stock Vs are just barely faster than the TBSS. Damn wheel hop and no traction.

I've never ran a TBSS from a dig...I did make 2 pulls from 35 and 40.....Pulled about 2.5 cars on both runs to 120 or so. I know the TBSS do come out of the hole strong tho.

Throw some drag radials on our cars and a garantee that the rear wont explode then I'd be willing to bet that V's would run 12's stock.

Qouted for truth. Id be willing to bet with a wider than 245 street tire it would run 12's, it sure has the power to do so. They have trapped as high as 109 stock. Wheel hop is a bitch though

I've owned both. I had a 2007 TBSS AWD for about 2.5 years and liked it, but let me tell you, it didn't even compare on the fun meter to the V. The V also felt a lot faster, although mine isn't stock, but I really haven't added much more power (maybe 10% over stock).

I hated the 4-spd tranny, how hard it shifted, how slow the tranny shifted. But the vehicle was solid, just way to boring for me. I actually traded it in on a 2008 Silverado 5.3 and actually like that better, probably because I really wanted a pickup the whole time, just couldn't find the one I wanted back in 2007.

I would say go for the CTS-V all the way and you won't want to drive the TBSS anymore, even to get groceries, lol.

A buddy of mine has a 2007 TBSS AWD. I beat him every time from a 1st gear roll. Not even close.
