Default Smog questions

I have a 02 camaro ss with LTs and no cats, the code has been tuned out. Now I currently live in ca. And my car is reg in las vegas nv. (because of military). Now I am having trouble finding a place in CA that can smog my car for cheap! Every where cost 150+ does any one here know of a spot that I can go to that will charge 120 or lower...also in nv what kind of test do they do? and I mean as long as there is no check engine light on will it pass?

Nevada tests for not readys and no smoke / leaks. As long as your not getting any 'not readys' you will pass. Costs $20.

$150 is a good deal, and I would be very surprised if anybody finds it cheaper.
I'm looking too.

Im looking for the same thing, just up North. I just got stationed at Travis. My car is registered in AZ. Im being told I need to get a base sticker, but to do that I need a CA smog test done.

Anyone know a place that I can get a "smog" test done? Either near Travis or Stockton?

If you dont want to post, could you pm me?

If your in Whittier there is a smog only guy in La Habra off of Palm Street and Lambert near Sonora High School. I have heard he is looks over some mods without question. I forget how much he charges but it isn't bad.
