Just ran across a deal on a set of bare dart 250cc heads for like $900... Was just going over my head options. I'm building a 05 LQ4 block. Scat rods, srp pistons. Cylinder walls still have cross hatch with 106k. Was thinking about going .005 over...
Still learing something every day about the LS engine.. This is the cam I have on hand.. .585/.585 w 238/242 109lsa. With 850 carb, th350 then on to 430's in the ass @ around 3000lbs ...
So here we go...
I picked up a set of 799's along with the cam & some arp cap screws.. At first was gunna run it like that. Decided to hit it with some rods & pistons for that decent sized 2 stage. 100+100 or so.
So now i'm sold on the L92 heads or these darts ^... With either heads is 4.030 a must???? Witch head is more bang for the buck? And can I get some comments on the cam w/ these heads?

I would just run L92's. I think they will make more than the darts unless they are nicely ported. You can run L92's with a 4.0" bore but the larger bore is more optimal as it unshrouds the valves.

The Darts are what they are calling monded floor. They are 90% cnced??? However i'm still concerned about all the duration on this cam. Don't the L92 like alot lsa? Any opinions welcome.
