Default good year drag radial or MT et street radial??

so im looking for some new tires for my pro stars that i just picked up. i was looking at the MT 325-50-15 et street radial and then came across the

Goodyear Eagle SS DOT Drag Radial ....... read a few mixed reviews about the goodyear tire. but figured id ask on here on the off chance someone might have first hand experience with the good year tire.

im bout 90% sure on the MT unless someone can give me a really good reason to get the goodyears.

so please any input would be great

As far as grip goes, dont think its getting much better then a m/t.

might get a little more life outta the goodyear though, but not worth the loss of traction haha.

lol it isn't great. Especially when you do nice burnouts with them at the track.

I'm thinking like 10k

I've been doing a lot of reading and research on those good year. Drag radials.... And the guys on the gto forums and svt performAnce have nothing but good things to say.
Great traction just like a mt, and they seem to not wear as slow from what I have read......

I was just hoping that Someone would have first hand experience with them on here.

I'm 50/50 now and can't decide

Dave you'd prolly get 3k-5k tops on the MTs. Thats what I gathered from doing searches (unlike Lala who fails at this) when I was trying to decide what tire to go with.

thats why i was wondring about the goodyears and if people have ran them. they havent been out very long.

i called jegs and talked to a guy. he said people are seeing 10k -12k out of them with normal use and seldom track visits..... obviously with no major smokey burn outs
