caddy lifters, anything i should do b4 installing?

ganna install caddy lifters in my lq9 in a couple weeks, is there anything i should do to them before installing? ive read of leaving them in oil for 24hrs before istall, any other tips would be great. thanks Raul.

A number of folks have reported reliability problems with those lifters. You should do a search and read those threads if you have not already.

I have not used them and do not have an independent opinion of them.
