Default Shortening a Clutch Line - Possible?

I have the complete factory clutch master / line / slave for my LQ4/NV4500 setup (from a 2006 Silverado 2500).

For my custom application, I need to use a Wilwood clutch master mounted under the floor, very close to the trans. The original line is too long (plus I need to connect to the Wilwood - not using the quick release). Is it possible to cut the braided factory line at the desired length and install an AN fitting to connect to the master? If so, does anyone know the proper size AN to match the factory line?

Solution: I shortened the line and used a -4 AN P.T.F.E. hose end. Connected that to a Wilwood MC with a -3/-4 adapter fitting.
