Default Ls1 h/c help

Ok so I'M trying to find a good head and cam package for a daily driver stock cubed ls1. So far I have headers, ls6 intake, 3.73 rear and an A4 without a torque converter yet. Waiting for info. I looked at the 227 heads from prc and the tf215 not sure which is better.... But I would like the 228r cam or ms3. Looking for an 11 second setup any other ideas? Idc about it being expensive.

I would call texas speed and and ask the same question. You have very specific needs that im sure they could handle. If your wanting a daily driver the 228 with some nice heads would be a better bet than the ms3. good luck with the build

Trying to make time to give them a call. Work don't let me. So what all would I need for a complete h/c swap? Oil pump timing set and tune? If I can get a good deal I'm sure I go by in April to get it all installed I just ordered a strange Dana rear so I feel like I need to beat my friend and his terminator and other turbo mustang

TSP heads are on sale.if you are on a budget get the ls6 st 1 heads.if you can afford more look at the prc 215 heads with iron guides ,for a stock cube motor.get a torquer v2 cam.get the trunnion upgrade bearings for your stock rocker arms, and a ls2 timing chain.TSP has a head/cam install kit,and if you car has higher mileage consider a oil pump from them also.if you have a A4 get a 3500rpm+ stall converter.you will need bigger injectors..find a good local tuner .you will need some good suspension pieces and DR to hook up .

I would consider TFS 220 as cast, TSP PRC, and AI heads. I like both 228 and MS3.
My MS3 woke up after a higher stall and 3:73s were added. I would also consider maybe having somebody spec you a custom cam after you choose your heads. Make your combo work together.
