Default corvette rims

i just bought these rims today for 300.00....they are the 19x10,18x8.5....they cleaned up really good....im gonna try to put them on a 2000 z28...





Thats the car im puttting them.....let me know what you think....im also trying to figure out the best tire size.any input would be appreciated

They should look pretty good.. I think anything above 285 in the rear requires modding, so i would go for a 285/30/19 in the rear and a 255/40/18 for the front. Would do alittle more research before going on my word...

tires sound about right, but the rears should/will require a 1 or 1.25 inch adapter to clear up, id go 1.25 and look for either a 285 35 19(factory vette size) or 295 30 19(porsche size, but 26 inch tall) out back and and 245 or 255 40 18's, the 255 maybe even a 35 series sidewall.. do a search on c6 wheels here and you will find info, they fit the same as the standard 5 star c6... those should look good on your Z, havent seen one yet with it.

im getting my 285/35/19 tires mounted tomorrow and i will order the adapters and front tires by the end of the week...so i should have pics next week on the car

Which adapters are you going to get? I plan on getting the ones from H&R in either 3/4" or 1" for my rear speedlines.

Looks good so far, its gonna need to be lowered so it compliments the new wheels.

Looks good. Did you post a thread a few days ago? Theres another silver Z28 with ground FX that put these same wheels on. haha

Read the posts, 1.25 spacers required for the rears, and you can run up too 295/30/19's.. I run C6 19" all the way around.
