Default Kenwood DoubleDin "Protection Mode"??

I have a Kenwood DoubleDin and it keeps popping up "DC Offset Error Protection Mode" on certain occasions. It only happens if i downshift into 2nd or 1st, or shift from 1st to 2nd, 2nd to 3rd when the CD player is on.. The bass keeps playing screen freezes, then a few seconds later the bass cuts out and the screen turns to the error screen mentioned above. If im cruising down the highway and stay shifting between 3rd or 4th with the cd player on in has no problem. Now if i just shut the entire headunit off while shifting through the other gears and turn it back on when im cruising it works fine..

Any ideas on what this could be?

Anyone? Any ideas at all would be helpful!!

Talked to some audio buddies and they said it might be because of how firm the shift is.. How would i prevent this? My first idea would be to brace it better, but the whole car shifts so would this even help??
