I recieved my Circle D 300-3200 278mm stall. I am going to be installing it along with a trans cooler and temp gauge. From what I understand 01-02 A4Fbodies have a more aggressive trans tune to protect it. I'm just wondering will I need a tune right away or will my car be fine for a while? Any help would be great. Thanks!

Only way to tell is to drive it.
After the break in period if you can go wot w/o hitting the rev limiter or throwing any codes, and have lock up by 35-40 mph, you should be fine.

You will probably be fine, but might want to tweak the tune. Go do a little driving and see how you like it. Make sure it is locking up, very important.

And there is no break in period on a Circle D converter, just make sure the trans and converter are operating correctly, then go racing!

00TAM6,

I've been looking into getting the 278mm Circle-D stall, too. When you get the install done, would you post a review of it here? Just curious to see how it runs. Thanks!
