tsp 1 7/8 headers
3 in y pipe with cutouts
bosch 044 in tank
self built nitrous stand alone fuel system c16 in tank
built 4l60e
circle d 4500 stall
STOCK 10 BOLT
weld pro stars with 275/50/15 et street radials @ 15psi

fastest motor pass was 11.67@119

because of the 10 bolt i've set a 2 second delay on my first stage with 1.2 sec progression from 60% to 100% and a 2.5 sec delay on my second stage with 1.4 sec progression from 50% to 100%

I was thinking the same thing... I'm doing 11.6 with cam only and have a buddy doing 11.4 on cam only as well.

I know I can do a lot better on motor, if I wanted to stall up and get a better 60ft but I think my rearend would break. I have a stock 10 bolt and stock 4l60e.

^^^ Maybe he still had the colder plugs in and more of a conservative NA tune for the spray. Lack of timing etc. But still runs hard and good times on the dope.

My 11.6 pass was on my Nitrous tune and colder plugs.

Don't get me wrong his nitrous time is very good I would like to see the video if it.

1/4 tank of gas, 2 full bottles, and 2 gallons in the stand alone cell, with me in it it weighs in at 3340. with the stereo and full tank it was like 3450

i weigh around 170lbs

3340 is good what all weight reduction mods have you done?

I have a full interior and my car weighs 3480 with me in it. I weigh 185 to 190 just depends on the time of day lol

Just a stereo and full tank is 100 lbs?

ya i have a box built to fit into the trunk with 2 12's and amp... its pretty heavy.

fiberglass sunoco cowl hood, bumper reinforcements gone, some metal webbing behind the rear panels are cut out. rear seats gone and replaced with bottles, aluminum exhaust, a few other odd and end sneaky weight reduction stuff.. lol

That's insane! it's amazing what some 10 bolts will hold up too, yet some members break the 10 bolt with a bolt-ons only engine.

well... the motor let go lol. must've gotten bad gas it melted a piston just before the 3-4 shift @7000 rpm under full nitrous load. piston disentigrated and the rod on the opposite bank, same journal snapped. motor is fucked but it still idled I had to shut it off....

there was pieces of piston ring and such inside my intake manifold...

last tuesday on some fun runs in mexico... there was some evo guy here in town talkin a bunch of shit calling us out and we went out and shut em up but my motor popped racing one of my roomates that just upped his shot. I've got video of it but its iphone video its not that great... I'll post it anyways

aluminum rod 408 inside an lsx block, set of afr's, a nice size cam with a precision billet 82mm and a 150 shot of dope ;)

block is on the stand already with the crank and pistons in it... just waiting on GRP for my rods

Sounds like a hell of a build.. Building a N/A 402ci as we speak with a set of trick flows. Should be interesting to say the least.. Good luck on the build..

You can do a 100 all day long no problems... Once you go over that like 150 175 and above you can start to have problems.

Yeah, but I would think anytime you spray nitrous it would be a good idea to add a few gallons of 110, just to slow the burn and cool things down a bit.

car has a standalone nitrous cell with c16 in the tank. air fuels were 11.40's the whole time. i felt the car go into full knock retard thenl the pop then it pegged out rich n i shut it off. i already knew what happened lol.

i usually run a couple gallons of c16 in the tank with the 93 but i didnt have enough that night. i'm pretty sure i got shitty 93 as well... oh well on to bigger and better things... new rear end as well ;)

WOW, I know the feeling. I burnt 2 pistons in a street race that took out my 346 when it was cam only. I upgraded a bit, and have rebuilt it once but the 408 you talked about will be nice for sure. Good luck on the build, nice ride.

I havenít run any racing fuel with my Nitrous setup does it make a big difference? If it does tell me what the reason be hide it would be. Thanks

Race fuel as you probably know is a higher octane that pump gas. Higher octanes are more resistant to detonation.

Explanation from other internet source cause i didnt want to type it all out:
Knocking (also called knock, detonation, spark knock, pinging or pinking) in spark-ignition internal combustion engines occurs when combustion of the air/fuel mixture in the cylinder starts off correctly in response to ignition by the spark plug, but one or more pockets of air/fuel mixture explode outside the envelope of the normal combustion front. The fuel-air charge is meant to be ignited by the spark plug only, and at a precise time in the piston's stroke cycle. The peak of the combustion process no longer occurs at the optimum moment for the four-stroke cycle. The shock wave creates the characteristic metallic "pinging" sound, and cylinder pressure increases dramatically. Effects of engine knocking range from inconsequential to completely destructive

402 LS with "Juice" should be a beast.

One of Ya said after a 100 HP shot(ie 150-200) causes problems why is this?
