so ive been wanting one but there is nobody making them!
now i have the ability to have a local carbon fiber place make one but that would end up with a large cost for one hood
is anybody else interested?
im sure if there is enough desire we can make this happen !!

They have some CF stuff (although it looks like they just distribute this stuff, not make in house)...

and they already have the mold for the hood. As long as you don't want something super pretty (assuming they are not set up to vacuum bag) but just want something light I'm sure you could pay them to do it way cheaper than someone else from scratch...

i was going to take your advise and buy a sunoco hood and have a mold made from it and resell it

well the company i would deal with would be fiber images (unless 6le want to step in) they are local to me and have built custom hoods for my buddys srt8jeep
im going to find out how many ppl they need to be interested to make this worth while

but im also all ears to any other company that willing to take part

Oh I only ask because I was talking to a Tru-Fiber employee at a local car show and I was asking him if they could make that hood in carbon fiber... He told me to give him a call, I just havent had a chance to.

But yeah Ill be the first buyer, cash in hand, when that hood is ready!
