Default Trickflow head/cam combo

I was going to just do Hot cam kit and refresh stock heads but I found the trickflow combo for 2,500.00. Would it be worth just doing the combo? Cars a weekend driver but has to pass emissions. Does anyone have this combo if so how do you like it?

this may be better althought it does not have the rockers and you have a better chance of putting that 420 to the wheels

looks like a slick little kit not a bad deal you're getting a good set of heads....bolts, gaskets, a nice set of rockers and pushrods...........try and get some specs on that cam though......kinda leaves alot to question theres no specs on the site.......

you're gonna have to buy a new timing chain also and also id stick a set of ls7 lifters in there $130 is worth the insurance.......

get them cam specs for me though.......

I'm not looking for a track car but something that's fun to drive. Would like about 400ish but be able to pass emissions.

Listen to quik95.
I have an AI topend on a stock bottom end and am making 425 to the wheels and running high 10's / low 11's at 3800 lbs. And it's not a radical cam at all; definitely a driver. You can even go with a tamer AI cam than mine and blow that TFS kit in the weeds.

Well I would like it near 400 at wheels but its not a huge issue. Main thing is I want something strong, fun, sounds great and emissions friendly. Its a m6 car and with 410s I would think anything close to 400 would be awesome.
