Anyone have trouble with inspection?

depending on your county and where you take it you might. As long as there is no SES light you should pass....and there is no visual that is.

No, not legally anyways. Our county is OBDII scan or sniffer test.

There is visual inspection in emissions and non emission counties in Texas. Houston (Harris and surrounding) is definately an emission county and you prob won't get away with it unless they are a friendly inspection place. I believe Austin (Travis County) is also an emission county and you will probably run into the same. Ask around some local car clubs for a friendly inspection place.

Went and got my trans am done yesertday . On slicks , cut out open, no problem here. Its all about who u know and if your car is mech stable.

Getting my truck inspected has been a nightmare. Ive taken it to atleast 5 different people all tell me I have "not readys" but wont tell me what has to be corrected.

by law theyre supposed to give you a printout of what it failed... tell them you want to see the printout.... "not readys" lol
