Sent pms out on this but havent heard anything back so....
Was wondering which or your two cams would be better for my project.. I have a stock Lq4 shortblock with untouched L92's,Ls3 intake and injectors,Nw 90mm throttle body.. I was thinking of either going with your..
229/236 .624"/615" 112 LSA or
231/236 .641"/615" 111 LSA

I saw you mentioned milling .15 in this one thread for the 229 cam.. do you think I can mill the same with the 231? Or dont recommend it? Here are the two threads I have been looking at.. I appreciate any info.

I don't have a PM but to answer your question Either one will go in a clear. You can't mill any on the 231/236 cam. You can mill some on the 229 cam but .010-.015 would be max. I think if it were me, I would run a smaller cam than both and try to mill the heads to get some compression back. You have a huge runner with the L92 and without much compression, it is going to be pretty soft down low. If you want the bigger cams, you could always flycut the pistons and deck the heads. Whichever way you go, I would try and get some more compression in your combo one way or the other. Shoot me a PM if you have any questions.
