Default My new exhaust setup

I was really tired of how my tips looked on the back of my car. I think the only way they look great on the 4th gen Chevys is dumped or surrounded by something like CME/ground effects. To me they look way out of place just hanging there. So I chopped off my tips and formed up a new set to the body. I am super happy with how they came out. Looking from behind you can't see them at all. Pay no attention to the grocery bag burned to the muffler. And yes, I know the Flowmaster sucks, just too cheap and lazy to change it out since it sounds ok and doesnt drone like most cars with them. As soon as I do the rest of the exhaust (different headers, y-pipe, i-pipe) it will go bye bye.

Thanks for the kind words guys. It does sound a little bit different, but not any louder or quieter.

Haha well 20k out of street tires is damn good for me with the way I drive. The fronts get trashed pretty quick as well. I'm a dick to my car lol.

Looks good. I agree 100% about what you said regarding the tips hanging out of place. Theres MAYBE one or 2 types of tips that can get away with not being surrounded buy a valence or ground fx.

I dont think exhaust tips look out of place. I think round tips look out of place like the typical slash cut, corsa clones, etc. I like oval/squared tips like mine (B&B triflow tips) or magnaflow ovals, etc. goes with the flatness of the back bumper lower edge.....not sure if that made any sense...LOL. But no matter, i can take off the tail pipes, and/ or take off the mufflers since i flanged before and after the mufflers on my true duals.

your right! I think its more out of place with out tips in the back. Its all in what look your going for.

the funny thing is if the camaro came out with out tips from the factory then everyone would put tips on lol
