ricmond says only up to 98.
i also saw a 99-newer vehicles.

all the sites really need updating/corrections.
Any from 93-02 are all the same, the catergory is GM 10 bolt 7.5"/7.625".
the 4 you mentioned were good.
The only potential problem is a variance in the pinion seal,it was changed (I think)for the 01-02 years.
There are different levels of installation/rebuild kits.

I would strongly suggest getting a solid pinion spacer on top of whatever rebuild kit you end up with. Ratech makes a good one, in fact Im using the one they make.. Summit was my source.

ill look into that solid pinion spacer.
hey SVThuh, what part number is the ratech install kit for my 2000?

i found this page, but which one? and it says something about 99 up with 7.625"/ 8.0" axle. partn number 380k for $80. is this the right one??? what is the 8.0" axle?

The only potential problem is a variance in the pinion seal,it was changed (I think)for the 01-02 years.

i dont have to worry about this because im a 2000 camaro right?

The GM Camaro parts manual shows the seal design changed DURING the 00 model year.
I'll try to find some links here in ls1tech for you.

looks OK.
check your axle bearings and axle bearing wear surfaces on the axles while you have the axles out.

Get a Yukon install kit. The best one made in my book...All Timken bearings, has the best shim design as well. Also my 9" install kit came with a spacer kit instead of a crush collar. The last Ratech install kit I bought, I was not very happy with. The pinion nut was not a locking type, the bearings were Koyo, which is a good brand but I still like Timken.

All 10 bolts from the early 1980s till the end of production on our cars use the same bearings. The seal changed in early 01, my 01 has a new one, my buddies very early production 01 has the old style. The ratech kits come with the older style. And yes 308k is the one.
