When i bought my 99 trans am first thing i did was pull the maf and throttle body off and did a full cleaning. Mobil 1 , k&n oil filter , and changed the air filter out she ran like a new car!! Plugs on the other hand are a PAIN in the but to do so if u havent done them on an f-body before i would pay that extra money to get it done else where. Good luck and enjoy!

Stock plugs and wires are best, you won't see any difference with those V-plugs. Also clean the throttle body with some carb cleaner and a rag.
