Default magnafuel 4301 vs dual intanks for street car

Working on my fuel system for a 85% street car, not my daily, but more play on street than at track. I have already spoken to lonniesperformance and nastyn8 about their dual pump setups. But i ran across a buddy selling a magnafuel 4301 external pump and boost reference FPR.. All i have now is a racetronix hotwire kit and racetronix pump in my 98 t/a from the past setup.. new setup is in sig.

What are the pro's and con's for the external pumps, vs dual internal.

this is what my homework came up with to make this kit work..

magnafuel 4301 pump
magnafuel boost reference pressure regulator
aermotive 16306 pump speed controler
fuel filters
y block and lines

i have a metal tank can i make that work or do i have to have a custom sump tank?

Thanks for all the imput, good or bad and anything you would do different..
