Default Vibration issue...

Hi I just got a 1998 camaro z28, I have an issue with it though. Its an LS1/A4 car, every time the car is under WOT the car vibrates, and when I am cruising at 70 mph plus, I read a couple of threads, and heard that if you put it in neutral and it go in WOT while at a cruising speed of 70 mph and it vibrates it can be the drive shaft. That is what happens to my car too. Any help would be appreciated.

U joints is that expensive to fix? Would it be cheaper to just buy a new drive shaft?

Probably a bad U-Joint like stated before. I would take your drive shaft out, take it to a driveshaft shop and have them put new u-joints in and balance the whole assembly. That way you know its done right.

U joints aren't too bad if you have a press, me and a friend did mine (my first experience changing u joints) in a few hours. Wasn't fun but it was a good learning experience.

I might just look into a local shop that fixes drive shafts to start shopping for prices.

Sounds like it might be time to make sure you got new motor and tranny mounts in
