Default True slick for 16x8 rim

I've looked and looked and cant seem to find a true slick like an ET Drag. All I can find is ET Streets and the like. Ive got an m6 car and want the best possible tire to hook but dont want to worry about grinding brakes and what not. Does anyone make a 26-28inch slick for a 16 inch rim??

From what I read MT used to make one way back when but don't anymore. I read that ET Streets arent that good for a 6 speed car but maybe they were speaking of the radial tire. Surely someone makes a slick for a 16 inch rim

MT makes the ET Street in both a radial and bias ply versions. The bias plys are the ones you want if your looking for a "SLICK" I have them on my car...26x11.5/16.

Ah, yeah thats what i was thinking of. How do they work for you? Im guessing you used them on your 11.85s? Im about to have near the same set up as you minus the LTs and a 125 shot.

Ya I know of the streets but from what I've read the ET Streets dont work near as well on a M6 car as they do with an auto. And I just dont want to spend a lot of money on tires only to have them just break loose with the shock of the 6 speed.

Here is a full slick from Hoosier

Here is the Quick time Pro from Hoosier.

Both of them are 16"

I wouldn't use the Et Streets(bias ply not the drag radial) anymore even if somebody paid me. They sway too damn much.

The ET streets work great for M6 cars...idk who told you they dont. Maybe they were talking about the radial verson of them. I know quite a few people cutting 1.5 60"s with 6spds. One of the being a nitrous(175shot)/cam 04 GTO (1.5x 60"/10.92et).

^How were your times on the bottle without them? Or did you have them before you installed it?

I ran the car with just a SLP lid and it went 13.2 on 16" street tires and 13.0 on the slicks. I havent ran it on the bottle with street tires at all. Itll just spin like hell now with the other mods.
