Dementia's stab at TA HID retrofit
Heres some teaser pics of whats to come. Keep in mind I still have a ways to go with them. I'm working on some ideas on making them easier to aim (much needed as you'll see my HID is aimed WAY low and to the left). I'll also be creating something to dress it up and hide the stock and retrofit bracketry, somehow integrating it with a shroud of sorts. I also have plans on making a lens, so the projector isnt exposed to road debris. Let me know what you guys think.
Horribly aimed low beam
BIXENON = horribly aimed high beam
The teaser
The money shot
No more fully extended drag flaps

Just from Cruises, wouldn't surprise me if we were friends of friends back in those days. I do remember on one cruise where we all stopped in Denver at the beginning of the cruise and occupied the area in front of some business, I particularly liked your car. Your hood and paint scheme was very nice. Definitely one of the better cars out in my opinion. I do have pics but i cant get to them right now. They're on my pc (im on the laptop for the time being). My apartments in shambles due to a flooded livingroom from a frozen and busted water main so the PC wont be seeing much use till these jokers get my place fixed back up. Im almost positive i even have a pic of your car from the cruise where we stopped off at denver as a checkpoint.

Actually heres some pics of my car that were on another forum. These were taken at Dyno Pros
One last one that i found on my phone. The original pic i have is pretty sweet, this ones been shrunk down to fit my cell phone screen so a bit of the quality is lost. This was taken down at Red Rocks

They're morimoto minis (bixenon projectors) with DDM 8k bulbs. I was originally going to go with a bigger projector to get a 3in diameter lense (FX-R) but i'm definitely glad i didnt. Theres not a whole lot of room under the flip up lenses to fit a projector much bigger than the mini's (2.5in diameter lens). I know i dont have much said about the flip up lights but I've modified it so that it only opens up to the point you see. Surprisingly that was the easy part of the project thus far lol.
I dont recall the name of the cruise but i believe i have the picture folders labeled by date (possibly) on my pc. Once i get things squared away w/ the apartment complex and my life gets back to normal i'll post up some pics to see if it refreshes your memory on what cruise it was.

Cool. I like the low eye look. I've recently retrofitted some projectors into my car. They are not 100% complete, so I am waiting on the finished product to release it to LS1Tech, but here is a tease.. (Really close to the wall, so you can't properly judge the cutoff pattern yet)

How do you do the "lazy eye" mod?
I need to order some new headlights, and all this projector HID crap confuses me lol. I just want a basic plug and play kit that has a nice blue tint to it and actually helps me see. anyone PM me some info it would be GREATLY appreciated.
