Yeah I know... I know... I've am sure that this has been answer 20 Trillion times, but I need a 98% definite answer. Most threads give a variance of 50 to 100lbs, but that's a big difference and a costly one I'm sure. I mean come on... out of all the motors that's been shipped on here no one has never been told the weight from the shipper!?
Anyways, I need the weight of a LQ4 short block. It still has the crank pulley on and the flywheel / flex plate, no oil pan.
Also, who has the best rates and of course Class 85 (used) friendly?
Sorry for such a redundant question, but I need it

aaa cooper is always the best and cheapest for me stay away from r&l they are the highest. If you can drop it off at their dock that will save a little. I always put 175 lbs and let it ride.

Thanks for the lead!
I called AAA and told them 175lbd, but they said they will weight it and if there are discrepancies I will have to pay the difference. Did they ever call you out on the weight?
Also were you shipping a shorty at the time, or a bare block?
I am still trying to figure out the damn weight of a shorty iron; you would think that out of all the blocks that have been shipped, this would be an easy answer
If the weight is on my bill of lading, I will sell that info, lol...
