I have a 83mm turbo on a built ls1 n my trans am. I running an a1000 mounted on the frame rail. I had been told that while daily driving the car around town i would have big issues with the pump burning up and heating the fuel. Now I was wondering could kb boost a pump prevent this from happening?

The boost-a-pump makes the pump run faster for more flow.

For around town use, you need a pump controller that slows down the pump when the fuel demand is less.
