We have in car tested the spragless 4L80E with excellent results out of the box.

In conventional TH400s and 4L80Es the weakest hard part is the intermediate sprag. Even using the 34 element piece, an improper burnout or overly harsh 1-2 shift can kill the sprag.

There are many methods to help this issue. The most successful is the "Super Drum" that uses a much larger sprag and sprag race. The issue with the Super Drum is that it reduces the clutch area. This becomes an issue in really big power applications.

Spragless resolves the issues by allowing full clutch surface area with no sprag to break.

Once we finish our billet OD carrier we'll have all the components for 2000 HP applications.

We also tested our adjustable pressure regulator assembly. Dead steady pressure all around. We'll need to spec a different spring but it worked as expected.
