Default vehicle issues

Have a huge problem,
I have a 1993 camaro z28 with lt1 engine. Recently installed a cam, replaced hydrolic lifters, changed rockers 1.6 lift and installed long tube headers. But, ever since I had a tuned chip by pcm4less.com installed car began to give me a problem. Car idles great but, at every stop turns off completely. My mechanic states that no trouble code being picked up by scanner but, concerned why check engine lights on. He discovered that the chip was not properly installed and worried that ecm got burned out because of that. Since, car was being runned. We have exausted our resources in troubleshooting and cry out for help! Before I purchase new ecm, stock prom and reburning chip what other resources are recommended to me? Please help....thanx

Your shop is feeding you typical shop bullshit. They lack the capacity to diagnose and understand the LT1 fuel injection system so automatically blame the PCM. Truth be told I've seen maybe ONE PCM actually fail in the 11+ years I've been working with these cars.

You have a 93 so you're at an advantage. If the SES light on the dashboard is on you can pull the codes yourself. This should be your first step in figuring out what's going on.

There is only a VERY small chance that the PCM is bad - MAYBE half of one percent. What cam did you install?
