Default what to look for when buying a 4l60e

I just bought an 04 LQ9 and I'm looking for a used 4l60e to go with it. Are there any particular years or features you should avoid? Like I'm probably guessing a 1 pc bell housing would be stronger and I heard something about different bolt patterns on the tail housing. Its going into an 86 K5 blazer but I'm not going to run the 4wd. Just will be straight 2wd trans for now.

I think the best option would be an 06 and later GTO or trail blazer unit. This would be a 4l65e and would have the best hard parts in it.

I've got a 4L60E from a '99 Trans Am WS6 for sale if you decide thats the year you'd like to go with. Its stock and has 60k miles on it, works perfectly

$450 picked up or $575 shipped if you live in/near the midwest. Let me know, good luck with your search.
