Default question about slick size

i just bought some used 15' convo pros with 28x10.5x15 ET drags. the tires are taller than what i was planning on running, but i got a really good deal on these so i went for it. after i add a 12-bolt and a 150 wet shot, will this size be ok to run, ro should i get shorter tires next time i need new slicks? thanks...

It depends on the gears you get in your 12 bolt and is your car a Auto or manual?

Are those the wheels/tires F1 Dave was selling?

those should be perfect with 4.10s. i was running 4.10s with 26s and it was too much gear. i would of been happier with some 28s.

Last year. Stock engine, cam, heads. 12-bolt, 4.30. M6. Used 26" on engine only; 28" on 100 shot. 1.64 on engine; 1.50 on the 100 shot.

With this years' set-up - head/cam the works, I'll be doing at least 150 shot stock bottom end. With stifting at 6500-6600 rpm's I am hoping the 28" will still work.

Keep your 28". You'll be fine with either 4.10 or 4.30. If street/strip go with the 4.10.
