Drag Racing Tech - Questions about Vacuum Pump Set-up

I need/want to run a mechanical vacuum pump on my new 408. I've got an -an bung in my valley cover for the vacuum. I'm running an ATI Super dampner with belt going to my alternator, no tensioner, Meizere race electric water pump. I've looked at alot of kits from Star, GZ, Moroso, Aeromotive, etc. What's got me stumped is the drive pulley that will mount to the dampner. The GZ kit mounts using a longer crank bolt thru the dampner... I don't like the idea of changing out that bolt. Can I use one of the drive mandrels and pulleys that bolts to the front of the dampner? Which kit is the easiest to mount and go? I've never used a vac pump on an engine before, so it's important to me that I get this right the first time... I don't want to buy and then re-buy parts.

THanks

Moroso makes a mandrel just for the LSx motors, they're availible through Jegs.

Is that mandrel made to work with the stock LS crank pulley though>>? That's what I've seen. It calls for a different crank bolt, and ATI specifically states to NOT use a different crank bolt with their super dampner.

Looks like this one is the 3-bolt hook-up. I'll have to check the bolt circle on my dampner.
