Default clutch master cylinder removal

I have removed the clutch master cylinder from the firewall but I'm having problems removing the master cylinder which is still attached to the clutch master cylinder reservoir. My question is can I remove the line from the reservoir to the master cylinder or do I need to remove the clutch master cylinder and reservoir together and still attached? I'm going from install university. But I'm a lil confused. Thanks guys

Your wording is a little confusing. Maybe watching my video will answer your question?
