Default Cable shifter stroke length?

I'm trying to get my shifter working in my swapped car and need a cable. What length stroke do I need for a 4l60e. Looks like my options are 2" and 3". FYI I have a lokar shifter that I'm modifying to work.

I'm almost positive that the shifter lever on the trans itself will move at least 3".

Thanks Vince. Thats what I was thinking too. B&M and Hurst dont give specs for a 4l60e specifically (not that I saw anyways) but I ordered the 3".
