Default help!

hey guys i have a bit of a problem. i have been cleaning the engine in my car particularly around the throttle body. i sprayed the inside of the TB with carb cleaner to get some of the gunk off of it, i did it with the engine running so it would go ahead and burn it off as i sprayed it in, now my check engine light is on. would this be a problem with my MAF sensor since i had to unplug it to get the air box out of my way, or is it just some additional carb cleaner that needs burning off? i have run the car continuously for some time now and the light is still on... any ideas? thanks for your time!

reset the PCM. It threw a code because the MAF was unpluged
