Oil pan and acessory drive for 70 Cutlas Ls1 swap
I have a couple of questions regarding swapping a ls1 into a 70 cutlas
Will a f-body acessory drive work with this swap or will the alternator be in the way.
Also, What oil pan and mounting plates will be the best to use for this swap.
Thanks!

the F-body accessories have been used on my A-Body swap, it is on my LS1 in my 71 Chevelle. The steering box will be close to the Alternator pully and maybe the case or rag join. Depending on what mount you are going to use.
I would suggest the JTZmotorsport/RetroLSx if you can find one, I think Holley now is marketing it. Or the MAST one. both are cast and fit well (just watch the front of the pan and the steering ends).
if you want to keep the trans bell housing flange it it normal location, the 1" setback. else what every you want will workout, but either one has it area that you have to work around with and combining that wtih accessories, steering, and exhaust. Highly suggested you buy all of the parts that will work or have been designed to work together. Edelbrock, BRP, S&P etc... (mount and headers)
