Doing engine rebuild and need some pistons. I'm not going too extreme, home-port heads with C1 cam, intake, exhaust. Since i have the engine out I am going to put some forged pistons in and new stock rods and ARP rod bolts with all new bearings. Where can i get a good price on forged pistons. I have read a couple of threads on the difference between the prices of the slugs and someone even said Wiseco has a set of semi-forged for $380 a set. Haven't been able to locate a set for that price yet, although that sounds good for my application.
I have been running down the list of sponsors and their pricing but is a slow process and most have similar prices or will honor a competitor's price. Several have the "call for prices" which is completely annowing and forces me to look else where. Any help would be appreciated or just thoughts on the topic.
