daily driven So i have just bought a 99 trans am
I am wondering what i can do to make it shift a bit harder?
I have looked up shift kits but it seems like most people say that the 1-2-3 shift thing gets old on a daily and if you started to move in the wrong gear ie 3 it breaks stuff so im just wondering what kit/kits i shopuld look for to make this thing chirp second and maybe third when i get on it?

What im wondering is if i get the transgo shift kit do i always have to bring it back down to "1" when i want to go or can i just drive around in "D"?
Also what else is needed when you buy the kit?

I had a shift kit installed in my tranny. my car is a daily driver. I have NO complaints. Car will now catch third's at 70mph. LOVE it!!!!!! And no, you don't have to manually start out in first. put it in drive, or od, and drive it!
