Can you imagine a corvette driving down the road with the normal steam rollers and one 13 inch spare tire on it lmao

You can mount it inside the rear fascia, I think there is enough room.

Even if the car doesn't have a spare tire, we can still understand the area you are talking about. I have a C5 Z06 and that's where I put mine. I had to reverse the mounts, as they were designed to be mounted on a flat surface, so by putting the shorter mount up front and the taller mount in the back, I ended up with a decent bottle angle. My car didn't come with the well cover panels (all C5 Z06's had them deleted - weight savings?!) but I use a partition to prevent prying eyes from seeing my bottle through the windows. Is it completely hidden? No, but it is hidden from plain sight so that is good enough for me for now. The only way you can see it is if I open the rear hatch. Of course, a C6 has the bigger glass in the rear, so you will have to get a bit more creative.

I have seen photos on the net where people have turned the bottle sideways and been able to hide it under the well cover panel in the "spare tire well." That was on a C5, but I imagine that it is possible on a C6. Google it?

I guess you've never seen a C6 then I guess. They don't have that sloped well in the back.

i dont think you can mout your bottle tilted like that.. theres a pick up tube in side the bottle thats on an angle why they come with the brackets the way they are.. iam not a 100% on this but ive heard it before

I think you might need some custom work to get it hidden. I looked in my dads c6 today and not much space for any good angle

General consensus around the corvette forums is use a mocked up subwoofer box for the c6 and hide it inside

There are pics out there about mounting it in the passenger side fender. I will see if I can find them.

Yeah I guess I never looked closely at a C6 rear hatch. My bad.

We make an aluminum plate that apoxies to the floor of the car and gives a hard mounting area for the bottle. However it is not hidden.

I agree check inside the rear fascia or behind one of the front fenders. They all come off easily and there is plenty of room. Especially if you have a wide body kit.
