Default 3bar OS with 2.5map sensor from cobalt.

I am tuning an LS1 with cobalt 2.5 bar map and I wrote the 3 bar o.s.

When I scan the car with the car off, it reads 300kpa...and when i crank the car it goes down to like 290 as if the reading is reversed.

The map just plugged right in...so I dont think the voltages would be reversed right?

All the voltages for different MAPs are 5V, so you need to be running a 2.5Bar OS if you are running the 2.5 Map, or the scaling wont be correct.

Or buy a 3Bar MAP....

You need to be careful with the Cobalt becuase they have 3 MAP sensors if i remember correctly.

1. combo MAP + IAT goes in the manifold, 2.5 bar
2. inlet air pressure (in the intake path) 1 bar i think
3. baro sensor (2 bar i think)

if it's the one that's shaped like the truck map, it's 2bar baro. mine said so on the box and is confirmable through the scanner. scan voltage koeo and it should read 1.6v if it's 3bar and 2.5v if it's 2bar. i would assume somewhere around 2v would be 2.5bar but i have heard this sensor is a unicorn.
