Default Older 4L80E to LQ9?

Hey guys I am swapping an LQ9 into my Mustang and I recently picked up an older 4L80E out of a 94 3/4 ton. I am trying to figure out what I need to run as far as flexplate/spacer but there's a lot of conflicting info out there, and not much info at all referring to the older 4L80E's.

If I use a GM factory flexplate I am assuming I will need the spacer 12563532.

However TCI shows a completely different flexplate for 4L80E transmissions that comes with a little hub and some bolts.

Can someone explain to me what excatly can be used?

Default

4L80e flexplates are 6 bolts.

I adapted a 94 4l80e to a 2005 L33 5.3L truck engine with GM parts. GM 12551367+ 12563532 for the flexplate and spacer. GM also has the longer flexplate-to-crank bolts (need 6) GM Part #12563533.

These should get you lined up. GM used them on their 6.0L/4l80e Hd truck chassis
