Default headlight motor

i got a headlight that when you put it down it grinds i have heard that is the first sign the motor is going bad but wanted a second opinion before i got a new one and i was wondering how hard it is to put one on and how long it might take

Yeah when it grinds it means that the plastic gear is stripped. You can either rotate it and use the other side or replace it with a brass gear. Look at the sticky at the top of the firebird section for all the info

sorry meant to say i read it i never knew those were up there now i know.. thanks ill probablly just roll the gear around and then if it goes bad again ill just get the brass gears
