Default 1999 Camaro Z28 RS M6 Question?
Hello, my father just picked up a 1999 Camaro Z28 RS LS1 M6 T-top. My question is does anyone else have one on here or do you know how many were made with this option package? Just wondering how rare of a Z he picked up.

Looks like there are 893 examples of '99 Camaros with the following RPOs

- Z28
- Y3F (Sport Appearance Package/"RS")
- LS1
- MN6 (M6 trans)
- CC1 (t-tops)

Willing to wager thats pretty rare. For a Camaro, there are some even rarer firebirds but thats pretty cool to find that.

Yeah, I think the RS was only offered with a V8 for a couple of years. I am fairly sure that the RS package was V6 only in '01 and '02.

I have 98 z28 auto that had rs kit on it then i took it off and sold it (except for spoiler) for 300, hope that wasnt a mistake lol

Lots of people do that (remove the kit). Many people don't really like it, which is probably why it wasn't a common option.

Yeah it was alright for awhile but i knew i was getting prostars and it woulda looked stupid with rs kit and prostars lol
