Need more info.
Formula or Trans Am?
SLP options?
Hell yes it'd be reliable as a DD.
But maybe not in Alaska, or some areas of Mexico, ...
Get the VIN, visit your local GM dealer & see if they'll run the number on the VIS system & see what it had for repairs/recalls/etc.
Maybe someone around here could tell ya that also.
What's the 'Firehawk' build number?
What's the VIN?
Any online sales ads for it, that others may see to offer comments?
IMO, $14k is not bad at all, ...
(CarFax may/MAY NOT show all the records. Depends on how the accident was reported, etc.)

6spd or auto? And do you want 6spd or auto? Sounds like a good deal, make sure to check the Carfax/Auto Check on it. It would make a good DD but the value is going to drop like a rock as mileage goes up on it.
^No 2002 Formula Firehawks IIRC

And yea, there were 2002 Formula's. Pricing would be somewhat similar, but usually the T/A cars bring a bit more money.

Have you seen the SLP 'second sticker' option listing?
Posting the CarFax won't be a problem.
Asking someone to run one for ya around the forums would be a problem.
They want people to pay for their own CarFax records, not get one form someone who already has the 30-day thing or other subcripotion.
Any links to an online ad?
PM it to me, if ya don't wanna post it publicly.

Carfax stopped the 30 day thing, now it's $45 for 5, or $45 for 30 days from AutoCheck (which works just as good IMO, both give different results though).
How many owners? No accidents at all? When you say you don't mind auto, do you want a 6-speed more? For $14k you can buy a clean, low mile, one owner, 6-speed WS6 pretty easily. I personally wouldn't spend $14k on an auto, they can be had for dirt cheap compared to the 6-speeds in my area.

Did the seller give you any additional paperwork?

I am going to test drive as well as inspect the car thoroughly on wednesday. What should i look for to verify the SLP options?

The Driver's side door tag may have the car number on it, if it's still legible.
Passenger side door tag, has the extra SLP options listed on it, ..., again, if it's still legible.
("Chrome Wheels" options should be listed.)
("Optional Spoiler" should be listed also.
It's got some exhaust work done to it.
Not stock tips. Ad says 'Flowmaster'.

Yeah well basically the engine has no work done to it. Stock block, will look deeper into it on wednesday. just basically look for the car number and the options on the passenger door?
