Default can i use one o2 simm?

I put cats on my off road y pipe this week, but i had to place one of them behind the 02 sensor, my check engine light still comes on, can i put just one 02 simm on that sensor to complete the circuit?
thnx
Travis

That sucks, sorry to hear it.

These cars sound way too mellow with cats, IMO.

actually with the magnaflow cats i got, its not too bad. I have the slp loudmouth and without cats it was loud but it just didnt sound great. Plus i needed cats cause i was getting the attention of the cops around here. douche bags...anyways. it smoothed out the tone.

reason i ask if i only need one, one cat is infront of the 02 sensor, the other is not. The o2 sensor behind the cat on the passenger side should be fine, i made sure to space it just as the stock ones were. just i didnt have enough room or an 02 bung to move the other o2 sensor on the drivers side so i just threw the cat behind the 02 sensor. i guess i should just get them both i dunno i was trying to save myself a few bucks
