Possible '86 project. Okay so new to this forum and new to a big forum in general just trying to hop around and read as much as possible and learn what I can as well as get feedback!
So I picked this 1986 Trans Am up right before winter at a good price. Got it mostly for something to drive, but as time goes on I almost want to swap it out or do some sort of LSX powered build.
100% stock '86 Auto 305 TPI with 131k on it.
A few dirty pictures(it needs cleaned pretty bad)
So as far as that goes. I'm not seeing many older ones floating around is there a reason to that? Would it be a good base for an LSX swap or is it just easier to go newer Bird or Camaro?
I had a buddy with a turbo Lq4 foxbody mustang and that is what had me hooked on the idea. On 15psi it was pretty insane I thought!
My last car was an AWD Turbo Eclipse which was a lot of fun, but I kinda wanna do something different then most the people in my immediate area!
